Monster Summoning Stone and Salvaging Guide

Quick Take: In this guide, we will discuss how to farm monster cores efficiently including salvaging for monster core purchases.

The Monster Summoning Stone Dungeon is an immediate source of monster cores and is the fastest way to complete your Codex collection to gain permanent stats for character strengthening. Monster Summoning Stones are classified by each regional territory (ex: Gludio stones, Dion stones, Giran stones, etc.) that includes monsters from both field and elite maps. Summoning Stones can be acquired via Treasure Chest and Clan Shop.

In the Summoning Stone Dungeon, we can consecutively summon for up to 20 stones. This allows us to schedule ahead of time so we can farm monster cores while AFK. It is important to form a huge party to defeat the upcoming wave of monsters efficiently. All users who entered the Summoning Stone Dungeon are eligible to use Consecutive Summon Schedule regardless if you are in a party or not so it is necessary to do a private summon so only the party members can go inside the dungeon.

How to effectively clear the monster waves?

First off, each stone has a total of 15 enemy waves and each wave has 43 monsters. A Monster Boss appears on the first wave (along with six monsters) and requires the party to beat it before the second wave appears.

There are a total of 650 monsters + 1 Boss in each Monster Summoning Stone

Positioning and battle configuration settings are important to clear waves faster. This positioning is called the vacuum strategy because monsters will automatically go at your position like a vacuum.

Players 1 & 2:

  • Weakest members in the party
  • Average kill of 16 monsters per wave
  • Auto battle radius: 0m

Player 3:

  • 2nd strongest member in the party.
  • Average kill of 12 monsters per wave
  • Auto battle radius: 0m

Player 4:

  • 3rd strongest member in the party
  • Average kill of 8-10 monsters per wave
  • Auto battle radius: 0m

Player 5:

  • Strongest member in the party
  • Able to solo kill the boss and 6 other monsters beside it
  • Average kill of 8-12 monsters per wave
  • Auto battle radius: 10-30m

It is strongly suggested to use the Monster Core Gain Increase Potion for all party members to acquire more cores during the runs (~150 cores per stone). In 20 runs, you will be able to acquire an approximate total of 3000 monster cores in 1-2 hours. That amount of cores can only be acquired in the Monster Summoning Stone Dungeon.

Monster Shop and Salvaging

Eight types of Cores will be displayed randomly in the Monster Core Shop every four hours. You can reset the displayed cores to display new types of cores using Red Diamonds. Take note that you cannot purchase cores for monsters whose codex have already been completed.

You can purchase cores using Soul Powders and it can be acquired from salvaging Monster Cores. Soul Powder values depend on monster grade:

  • Grade R (Clan Dungeon / World Bosses) – 30 Soul Powders
  • Grade S (Field / Temporal Rift Bosses) – 20 Soul Powders
  • Treasure Guard’s Core (Treasure Guards) – 10 Soul Powders
  • Grade A (Elite Monsters) – 4 Soul Powders
  • Grade B (Field Monsters) – 2 Soul Powders
  • Grade C (Field Monsters) – 1 Soul Powder

Tip: Even if you have already completed the codex of a specific territory, you can summon and farm Grade A cores to salvage and earn a good amount of Soul Powders. Use it to purchase hard to get cores in the monster shop.

TL;DR

Monster Codex Collection add permanent stats to your Character (similar effect from Talisman, Runes and Elixirs) so it is essential to farm cores to build your edge as an individual, and have the capability to battle higher level monsters/bosses/players. A specific way to gain these cores fast is via Monster Summoning Stone Dungeon. To further utilize your time efficiently and clear waves faster, a specific Vacuum strategy is applied. With this strategy, you can finish 20 stones of consecutive monster summoning way faster than just playing in auto-mode.

Excess cores can be salvaged for Soul Powders and are used to buy cores in the Monster Shop. Even after completion of codex from a specific territory (ex. Talking Island Territory), you can still summon and farm Grade A cores and salvage for a good amount of Soul Powders.

Monster Codex Collections are hardly filled and requires hardcore farming, but thanks to Monster Summoning Stones and Core Gain Increase Potions, completing the monster codex becomes easier. There is a different core prioritization for each character so make sure to first fill up the cores that bring out the best of your character type.
