Completing the 2nd Class Transfer will grant you the power from the giants and learn two new Ultimate Skills, including one active and one passive skill. Since heroes can only see the active skills description on the character chart, we will discuss each of their passive skills and how it greatly affects the character and the current Meta.
Some characters have acquired an amazing personal passive that allows them to be versatile in battle situations, while others have acquired a party buff that is essential on group fights, especially for siege teams.
Note: To level up the Ultimate Skills, heroes must obtain a Lesser Giant’s Tome which can be obtained from the Honorable Battlefield, Temporal Rift (Nightmare), and Level-up Rewards.
Paladin / Phoenix Knight
Final Fortress – Incresaases Def. for a duration of time when HP falls below a certain range.
When Phoenix Knight’s HP falls below 50%, his P. DEF and M. DEF increases by a whopping ~53k for 15 seconds at skill level 1. As it levels up, DEF increases by increments of ~3k. This has a fast cooldown duration of 30s which allows you to efficiently tank the frontlines. Use the Shield of Faith skill to complement and maximize the usage of Final Fortress. Also, set the greater HP potion auto-use at <50% HP value to trigger the passive first.
Warlord / Dreadnought
Final Frenzy – Increases Atk. Spd. and P. Atk. for a duration of time when HP falls below a certain range, and Invincibility is granted for a brief duration.
When Dreadnought’s HP falls below 50%, it increases its P. ATK by 18k and ATK speed by 10% at skill level 1. Additionally, Dreadnought becomes invincible for one second which allows him to freely go in and clash without worrying of getting burst down by enemies. As it levels up, P. ATK increases by increments of ~1k and ATK speed by increments of 0.15% This skill lasts for 10 seconds after activation and has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Treasure Hunter / Adventurer
Exciting Adventure – Increases Speed, Atk. Spd., and Crit. Rate at a set chance when Evasion occurs.
When an Evasion occurs from enemy hits, the Adventurer’s movement speed increases by 15%, ATK speed by 10% and Crit. Rate by ~11.5k for 5 seconds. Moreover, it only has a fast 10-second cooldown. As it levels up, ATK speed increases by increments of 0.1% and ~800 Crit Rate. With this passive, it is now a necessity to put evasion stats on your equipment substats to maximize the potential of this skill. This allows Adventurers to create space and deal decent damage in the front lines during battle. The extra move speed also allows good offensive and defensive positioning.
Hawkeye / Sagittarius
Deadeye Stance – Increases damage to targets that have had their Speed reduced, or are affected by Bleed.
When enemies are affected by bleed or slow, Sagittarius gains 15% bonus ATK damage at skill level 1. As it levels up, damage increases by increments of 0.15%. This skill complements well with Arrow Rain skill that deals continuous damage and ultimately makes Hawkeye a good damage dealer in the backlines. With this skill, Sagittarius are extremely effective on parties with movement impairing abilities.
Sorcerer / Archmage
Magic Stacks – Gains stacks every time a skill is used. When 4 stacks are gained, the next offensive Normal Skill is imbued with increased damage.
Sorcerers gain an immense increase in skill damage after the 4th stack. The stack duration lasts for 40 seconds every time a skill is used, which is an adequate time of build up. After the 4th stack, it is recommended to use high damage skills like Volcano and Molten Bowl. Casting active skills like Boost Mana and Absolute Shield counts as a stack so make sure to take advantage of it. Additionally, skill cooldown decrease makes Archmage a real offensive threat which you can get from substats or from party buff.
Bishop / Cardinal
Lucky Major Heal – Bestows a barrier to party members when Major Heal is used.
This skill activates when Major Heal is used that surrounds your party members with a protective shield of 5.0% of your max HP plus 16k HP that lasts for seven seconds at level 1. As it levels up, shield increases at an increment of ~.15% of your max HP and 1.2k HP. In addition to Major Heal which increases the HP and MP regen rate, Cardinal’s Ultimate skill Balanced Life is a good conjunction to this passive skill ensuring a good survivability rate of your allies in the frontline.
Temple Knight / Eva’s Templar
Sixth Sense – Increases Evasion for a duration of time when HP falls below a certain range.
When Eva’s Templar’s HP falls below 50%, her evasion rate increases by 15% and evasion stat by ~6.8k at skill level 1. As it levels up, evasion bonus increases by increments of 0.15% and ~250 respectively. Similar to Phoenix Knight’s passive, the buff lasts for 15 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. With this passive skill, even enemies with high accuracy will have a hard time hitting her because she has two evasion skills in Elder Avoidance and Sixth Sense.
Swordsinger / Sword Muse
Song of Assault – P. Atk. increases each time a skill is used.
Each time a skill is used, Sword Muse’s P. ATK increases for a maximum of 10 stacks. At skill level 1, the bonus P. ATK is 3.1k and increases by 250 ATK per level. Just at skill level 1, it can go up to 31k bonus P. ATK which is an enormous increase. Stack duration can hold for up to 10 seconds so it is important to use your skills at an interval where you get to keep the bonus, meaning do not use all your active skills in one go. Also, getting a cooldown decrease substats on your character’s equipment is essential.
Plains Walker / Windrider
Retain Combo – A combo count is added when attacking an enemy using an attack skill, and bonus damage increases depending on the count.
Arbol Accessory set solidifies the effectiveness of this Passive skill because retaining a combo gives Windriders an insane amount of damage increase. Also when a successful attack skill lands, it adds a combo amount which makes it easier to stack up the numbers. This passive skill also gives a bonus damage starting from 50 combo up to 150 combo counts.
Silver Ranger / Moonlight Sentinel
Spirit of Critical Shots – Gains stacks for every successful skill. Crit. Rate and Basic Attack damage increases on the 9th stack. Stacks reset after the effect is consumed.
Moonlight Sentinel’s potential damage increases during the activation of this passive skill. Each successful skill stacks for up to 9 times and then activates an increase in basic attack damage and critical rate for 10 seconds. It is important to spam this character’s skills to accumulate stacks faster and activate the passive skill frequently.
Spellsinger / Mystic Muse
Frost Armor – Decreases target’s Atk. at a set rate when attacked by an enemy that is movement impaired.
Mystic Muse’s Frost Armor is a good utility to disrupt the enemies firepower by reducing their ATK. Unlike most character’s Ultimate passive skills, this does not require cooldown but activates at a 50% chance when attacked by an enemy that is slowed or movement impaired. This complements well with her skills Starfall, Ice Spear and Blizzard. Since this passive requires Mystic Muses to be hit in order to activate, usage of Defense Zone becomes a viable option so she can move up to the front lines and force enemies to attack her.
Elder / Eva’s Saint
Restoration Barrier – Bestows a barrier to party members when Restoration is used.
This skill activates when Restoration is used that surrounds your party members with a protective shield of 5.0% of your max HP plus 16k HP that lasts for seven seconds at level 1. As it levels up, shield increases at an increment of ~.15% of your max HP and 1.2k HP. In conjunction with the Restoration skill itself, this ensures the survivability of your party by providing them with a protective shield.
Shillien Knight / Shilen Templar
Barrier of Shilen – Creates a barrier for a period of time when HP falls below a certain range.
When Shilen Templar’s HP falls below 30%, a shield of 56.7k HP (skill level 1) is activated for 7 seconds. As it levels up, the value increases by increments of ~3.5k. It has a cooldown duration of 30s which allows you to efficiently tank the frontlines by minimizing the risk of dying. It is advised to set the greater HP potion auto-use at <30% HP value to trigger the passive first and let it cool down while you are at max HP.
Bladedancer / Spectral Dancer
Dance of Assault – Increases P. Atk. at a set chance when attacking an enemy with low HP. One Normal Skill’s Cooldown will be reset.
When attacking an enemy under 25% HP, there is a 25% chance to activate an increase in P. Atk and randomly resets an active normal skill on cooldown. This allows Spectral Dancer to switch battle decks and be able to use all active skills (Dance of the Warrior, Dance of Fury, Rush Impact, Hurricane Storm, Spinning Slasher). This passive makes Spectral Dancer really scary in mass PvP, especially in sieges.
Abyss Walker / Ghost Hunter
Blood Hunter – Decreases the target’s Def. at a set chance when attacking enemies. If the target is affected by Bleed, Bleed status is exploded for bonus damage.
Ghost Hunter remains one of the deadliest 1v1 units with the addition of this passive skill. Resilience and DEF is futile against this character because of the massive DEF decrease and bleed damage this skill inflicts. The proc rate is only 15% but it can be compensated by ATK speed. Moreover, it has a short cooldown of 10s and the debuff duration lasts for 5 seconds.
Phantom Ranger / Ghost Sentinel
Grand Phantom Mastery – Increases Accuracy and P. Atk. increases depending on Accuracy Rate.
Ghost Sentinel may be a slower range attacker than Moonlight Sentinel but this character is known to be a sharpshooter. With this passive skill, Ghost Sentinel gains a great amount of Accuracy to make each attack hit count. Additionally, P. ATK increases based on Ghost Sentinel’s Accuracy rate. This further strengthens his damage potential in the backlines during sieges and any type of mass PvP.
Spellhowler / Storm Screamer
Arcane Shield – Increases M. Atk. at a set chance when hit. An Arcane Shield activates, converting a portion of the damage taken to be consumed as Mana instead.
Storm Screamers now have a fallback skill for survivability when caught by enemy attacks. Additionally, they get an increase in M. ATK to draw fights and win against opponents. This Arcane shield, however, has a low activation rate of 15% and applies to a maximum of three attacks. But when it activates, 80% of the damage received will be deducted on your MP.
Shillien Elder / Shilen Saint
Lucky Vampiric Touch – Bestows a barrier to party members when Vampiric Touch is used.
This skill activates when Vampiric Touch is used that surrounds your party members with a protective shield of 5.0% of your max HP plus 16k HP that lasts for seven seconds at level 1. As it levels up, shield increases at an increment of ~.15% of your max HP and 1.2k HP. In addition to Vampiric Touch which increases the HP regen rate, this passive skill gives some sort of assurance on the survivability of your party members.
Guardian / Eternal Guardian
Healing of Wind – Recovers HP for a duration of time when HP falls below a certain range.
When Eternal Guardian’s HP falls below 30%, her HP restores by 42k for 3 seconds at skill level 1. As it levels up, HP recovery rate increases by increments of ~2.4k. This has a rather long cooldown duration of 30s for a three-second effect, but enough to be considered as a fallback in case your HP potions are on cooldown. For this reason, this character becomes an efficient front line during mass PvP.
Slayer / War Slayer
Lucky Ignore – Increases Def. and Damage decrease rate at a set rate when damage that is at least 10% of Max HP is taken.
Whenever War Slayers receive a huge single damage specifically critical hits, her defensive capacity also increases for a duration of 10 seconds by adding 13k DEF and Damage decrease rate of 15% at skill level 1. This allows War slayers to fearlessly attack a group of opponents without worrying about their potential damage. With Absolute Shield or Defense Zone, she becomes an indomitable force worthy of being called as War Slayer.
Scavenger / Bounty Hunter
Wild Hunter – Damage increases against Poisoned or Silenced enemies.
This passive skill goes well with her active skills Coin of Maphr and Sonic Star by dealing additional damage when enemies are poisoned or silenced. Bounty Hunters are famously known as a utility class with less damage, but now she can deal some decent strikes as long as you keep enemies poisoned or/and silenced. Bounty hunters go well in parties with ability debuffs.
War Ranger / Warsmith
Fake Harden – Decreases Speed and Def. of the enemy and stuns at a set rate when hit.
With a 15% chance proc rate and 2-second cooldown, Warsmiths are now a defensive machine by decreasing the attackers DEF and speed and briefly stunning them for 1 second. They are a good bait in both offense and defense to open up combos for your party. Absolute Shield / Healing Strike is a good rare skill to ensure the survivability of this character.
Battle Mage / Eldrich Wizard
Shield of Attack – Increases Atk. for the duration of the barrier.
When Eldrich Wizard casts Distortion, the seven-second barrier allows this character to go full attack mode after gaining bonus ATK stats and a protective shield. To enemies caught in the distortion having their speed reduced by 100%, it is best that all of your party members rally behind you to unleash skills and burst down crippled enemies.
Sage / Master Sage
Divine Protection Barrier – Bestows a barrier to party members when Divine Protection is used.
This skill activates when Divine Protection is used that surrounds your party members with a protective shield of 5.0% of your max HP plus 16k HP that lasts for seven seconds at level 1. As it levels up, shield increases at an increment of ~.15% of your max HP and 1.2k HP. Divine Protection already increases HP Regen Rate and DEF, and for sure this allows your party members to just dive against opponents without worry due to the addition of a protective barrier.
Raider / Destroyer
Protection of Debuff – Recover a portion of HP when debuffed, and has a chance to increase Def. and Atk.
This passive skill has a 100% activation rate of healing when Destroyers get debuffed. What’s more astonishing is the duration of this skill when activated lasts for five seconds and also has a cooldown of 5 seconds which allows destroyers to freely feed on to debuffs to Heal HP continuously. There is also a 30% chance of activation for both ATK and DEF increase while being debuffed which is a good percentage.
Monk / Tyrant
Cripple – Has a chance to decrease the target’s Speed and Atk. on a successful hit.
With good accuracy to successfully hit your opponents, Tyrants become hunters and a fearsome class in 1v1 situations. Even classes with high mobility can’t escape from him because once they are slowed down, Tyrants also gain ATK and movement speed with 10% activation rate. Causing fear on your opponents will give this class more motivation to cause havoc.
Shaman / Warcryer
Chant of Protection – Increases Def. of everyone in the party, and decreases Critical Damage received.
This is one of the many reasons why Warcryer is considered one of the best utility in parties. Chant of Protection further increases the whole party’s DEF by 13k starting at skill level 1 with an increment of 750 DEF per level. Additionally, Critical Damage received is reduced by a huge 50% and also improves by 0.5% per level. Having a Warcryer in parties especially in siege and mass pvp is now a must in order to strengthen both offense and defensive power.
